Chesterfield Bookkeeping Services
. . . More than just bookkeeping

bookkeeping and accountancy services for the Chesterfield area

Certified Bookkeeping

Hopefully you are thinking that a bookkeeping service "can save me time and money", and are ready to dip your toe in the water.  Please feel free to phone for an informal chat, or drop me an email and we can discuss your needs.
If you then decide you do want to go ahead and outsource your bookkeeping, or perhaps just want final accounts prepared at a more reasonable cost than you are presently paying, then the next step will be to enter into a contract for services. I would then send a Letter of Engagement, which sets out the following:
  • The bookkeeping business with which you are entering into a contract
  • Your business name
  • The services that you can expect
  • Whether the work will be forwarded to your Chartered Accountant or other advisor
  • Where the work will take place
  • When the work will take place
  • What it will cost
  • When the invoices will be submitted and when these should be paid
Once you have accepted the engagement, an id check will be made, based on, for example, a passport or driving licence. (This is a requirement under the Money Laundering Act (2007) and is something that all accountancy service providers are required to do by law).
Once this has been done, we can sit down together to discuss the details of your business, to help better serve your needs. After that, you just need to get your documents together once a month ready for collection and processing.
